We Answer to People, Not Products
The Terrio Group offers comprehensive retirement income solutions that look at the individual person, rather than a product to place them in. For nearly ten years, the boutique financial firm has provided financial planning, investment management, and other products as part of a holistic, process-driven solution, with no two alike.
The Terrio Group is comprised of financial advisors, consultants and experts who have a fiduciary obligation to act on behalf of the client. Families and businesses can visit the office in Stuart, or in St. Lucie West on the Treasure Coast, or the Minnesota branch, in North Edina.
Michael Terrio is the founder and President of The Terrio Group. Michael believes that communication and interaction with his clients on a regular basis is key to understanding their financial planning needs and assisting them in realizing their dreams and aspirations. The firm covers all areas of financial management, from investment and retirement planning to risk management, strategic income planning and estate conservation.
Michael believes that at the nucleus of a successful retirement plan must be comprehensive, cohesive financial strategy. This strategy must be tailor-made to fit each individual’s unique needs, thus enabling it to meet both short and long-term objectives. Each client is given watchful attention, monitoring their progress and making adjustments as necessary for changing economic climate. Michael has been the keynote speaker for several educational events. He also speaks nationally for the armed forces at Yellow Ribbon Events. His goal is to help soldiers that are being deployed or returning from service to make sound financial decisions. He has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and is often asked to share financial tips and advice at several local news stations. Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Kaycee and their boys — Cash and Brady.
Cathy Hietala is dedicated to providing the type of guidance that will help her clients discover the path to financial prosperity—a code of ethics that is a hallmark of The Terrio Group. She runs the Minnesota branch with ease, always exploring ways to create new efficiencies. This same commitment to excellence carries over in her communications with clients, going out of her way to help them feel comfortable in retirement. Part of Cathy’s altruistic spirit was developed as she raised her two boys and was primary caregiver to her ailing mother, while looking after a family member with special needs. Cathy knows the value of hard work and commitment, which is part of the reason why she is so passionate about helping empower her clients with the education and resources necessary to enjoy and live the retirement they have worked so hard for. While not at the office, Cathy enjoys golfing, boating, culture, and meeting new people. She gives back further in her volunteer work for the non-profit Feed My Starving Children, who work to eliminate starvation in children around the world.
